WARNING!
THE SB116
MUST ONLY BE USED WITH A SAFETY THRU PIN
These new PopUp Extended Coupler
gives you an additional sixteen inches
clearance between the truck cab and the trailer nose, and between the
truck tailgate and the trailer bulkhead. This gives you more trailer swing
and more room for hook-up.
To
make your towing experience better yet, this extended coupler is fitted
with a PopUp GN8 self-latching coupler.
This coupler latches when the trailer is
lowered onto the ball. It also has a molded hitching guide to make
coupling easier. To uncouple, you simply pull a release cable located near
the trailer jack handle. The GN8 coupler has a "V-19" rating of
28,000 pounds.
These units are fabricated using extra heavy wall tubing for maximum
strength. They are rated at 24,000 pounds gross trailer weight.
Short
Bed Extended Couplers come with all necessary hardware and coupler release
cabling. Installation takes about half an hour.

Happy Customer
I just wanted to tell you that your
extended gooseneck coupler saved-the-day and made the Altus Air Force Base
Fire Department very happy! The quality of your work was very good and our
customer left here with a towable trailer.
I'll spread the news and certainly offer it
to other customers in the same predicament.
Thank you again for your terrific response
to our dire problem.

Proven
in the Real World
Just a quick note to say thank you.
I have a 2002 GMC Sierra Short bed with a Remove-a-ball
gooseneck hitch. When it was
installed it came out 6" in front of the axle. Needless to say that
did not give me the clearance needed to make any sharp u-turns.
I have a 94 sundowner with a beveled front and still managed
to break the rear window of the truck in a u-turn in the mud when the
trailer slid around closer than I had planned.
I have already installed the PopUp SB1 extension and made a
tighter u-turn in the same spot that I broke the window and had at least
6" of clearance after jack knifing the truck all the way around.
Thanks for a great idea with an equally great execution.
